Terms of Service

Welcome to Oval LMS (“Oval”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our learning management system (LMS), content, services, and materials provided through Oval (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services through an invitation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Oval LMS is a private platform available exclusively by invitation. Only invited individuals or organisations may access the Services. We reserve the right to grant or revoke access at our sole discretion.

You may not share, transfer, or sell your access credentials to others.

To access the Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
• Have received an authorised invitation from Oval or a partnering organisation.

Upon receiving an invitation, you will be required to register and create a user account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information during registration.
• Promptly notifying us of any unauthorised use of your account.

Oval is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised use of your account.

You agree to use the Services for the sole purpose of learning and training as intended by Oval. You may not:

• Share content outside the platform without written permission.
• Modify, copy, or distribute content unless expressly permitted.
• Use the Services for unlawful or harmful activities.

Oval provides access to curated e-learning courses, including video modules, quizzes, and assessments. Some courses may offer a certificate of completion, including those endorsed by third-party institutions such as ITOL (The Institute of Training and Occupational Learning).

Certificates are issued only upon full completion of the course requirements.

While some courses may be offered free of charge (e.g., during a promotional period), others may require payment. All fees are clearly stated and non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.

Where applicable, reimbursement through partners such as HRD Corporation (HRDC) is subject to eligibility and documentation compliance.

All content and materials provided on the platform—including videos, text, quizzes, graphics, and brand elements—are the intellectual property of Oval or its licensors. Use of any content outside the platform requires prior written consent.

Our Services may reference or link to third-party content or services. We do not control and are not responsible for these third parties or their content.

Oval reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for:

• Breach of these Terms,
• Misuse of the platform,
• Or at the end of an invitation period or training contract.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Oval disclaims all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oval is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Services.

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services following changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
